Madelaine Lucas is an Australian writer and musician based in Brooklyn, New York. She is the senior editor of NOON literary annual and a former teaching fellow at Columbia University, where she is completing her MFA in the fiction program.
Her work has been published in The Believer, Literary Hub, Catapult, The Lifted Brow, and elsewhere. Her short story, "Ruins" won the Elizabeth Jolley Prize in 2018. She is currently at work on her first novel.
In another life as a singer and songwriter, she released several records with her projects Devotional and A Casual End Mile.
